Universal root on most samsung phones with bcm chipset running on Gingerbread

Are you wanting to root your Samsung ace, young, gio etc running on Gingerbread for some reason but can't get the right rooting tool?

How to root?
  • Download this file first.
    Universal GB root
  • Extract the content on your desktop.
  • Copy the extracted update.zip on your memory card.
  • Put your phone into recovery mode (refer on this GUIDE on how to put your phone into recovery)
  • Now on recovery navigate the options by using the volume (-) (+) look for "Install update from sdcard use the power key or middle key (this  option vary depending on the model of you phone) to select that option.
  • Now select the update.zip filename that you have just copied and select install by again using the either the power key of the middle key.
  • Wait for the process to finish.
  • Select the "reboot phone" option.
  • And you're done.
  • Congratulations! you've just rooted your phone.
Note: Make sure your phone is listed above and is running on gingerbread or else please do not use the rooting file coz you might end up bricking your device.
